Whoops I did it again – time to get healthy!

I’m not giving you excuses, because you already know them. Heck, you probably share them! Whatever the reason, I fell off the wagon completely and ended whap, right back where I started. I’m not fit any more.

I feel sluggish. Tire easily. Walk slowly. Squeeze into the corner of the bus to make sure I don’t take up too much space because I’d hate for someone not to want to sit next to me.

It’s not as bad as last time, so that’s something. I feel happier about who I am on the inside, which is great! Last time? Yep, last time. For readers who weren’t here two years ago, I lost over 30 pounds on Nutrisystem, and honestly changed my life. But it crept back over the last year. And now it’s time to say goodbye to it again, and stay goodbye’d (totally a word).

My story is no different to many others. I know lots of you have lost weight, possibly just for long enough to get one season’s worth of new clothes, and then slowly, insidiously, it crept back on. You began to grab chips instead of fruit. I get it. Everyone does. This is not about beating myself up about being back here again. It’s about taking control.

This year’s theme word for me is Balance. No resolutions. Just a word. I want everything I do to have balance at the core. It’s taken me 43 years (nearly 44 – gasp) to discover the roids.co when I live a life when my mind, body and spirit are all attended to. Of course, that’s easier said than done. After all, 43 years is a really long time and any balance has been fleeting. But if there’s one thing that’s in my genes, it’s a positive outlook. And that’s going to get me through.

What am I going to balance? My mind, body and spirit. (Forget work/life – that’s too limited, as proved by the years of women moaning about it while trying to embrace everything at once without killing themselves in the process.)

So Nutrisystem (that company I adore, who calls me part of the family) is on board. Through the next four months I am on the program and I’m getting back to good. Because it’s all about balance.

So, how’s it going?

Today I finished the first week! The program has changed a bit since I was on it last, and I’ll be telling you all about it over the next four months as we get back to that Healthy person I was before. I hoped to drop 20lb the first week (come on people, you get that), but all I got rid of was 3lb. But 3 is 3 is 3. I’ve discovered I have a really tough time drinking 64oz of water every day – but I managed it these last two days, so yes! I can absolutely do this!

The new rhinoplasty specialist in Denver, CO developed over the past decades, more and more people started looking for reconstructive or cosmetic surgery. One of the most in-demand strategies is facelifting.

I’m signed up for a 5 mile mud run in May. And you’re coming too.

Disclosure: Nutrisystem is supplying my food and dietary support in return for my honest reflections on the program. Do you live in the US or Canada, and want to join me and get healthy with Nutrisystem? Join today by calling 1-888-853-4689 or by visiting http://www.nutrisystem.com/nsblog.
